Jakarta, Kabartujuhsatu.news, -The Minister for National Development Planning explained that national resilience cannot be seen as a single aspect. National resilience is determined by the interaction between human development and other sectors in development, including economy, infrastructure, science and technology, democracy and governance, and law enforcement and human rights.
This was conveyed by the Minister when giving his presentation at the Plenary Meeting of the ITB Professor Forum. The event carried the theme "National Resilience in a Diversity Perspective for the Development of Indonesia in the Present and Future Era", which was held virtually on Friday, March 26, 2021.
The minister said that efforts to support national resilience that are currently being developed include the plan to relocate the State Capital (IKN) to East Kalimantan as announced by President Joko Widodo on August 26, 2019.
"In the context of national resilience, the capital city of the New State in East Kalimantan will become a central hub or government activity center that is truly in the middle of Indonesia's territory. A very strategic location to orchestrate development throughout Indonesia, "said the Minister.
Furthermore, the Minister explained that Bappenas was working on strengthening One Data Indonesia, integrating a dashboard of data needed for evidence-based national development planning, as well as a means to educate the public regarding the achievement of national development performance indicators.
Closing his presentation, the Minister said that digital transformation is also an important agenda in strengthening national resilience.
"In the 2020-2024 RPJMN it has been stipulated that implementation must be carried out in all development priorities, mainstreamed, becoming an enabling factor for accelerating the achievement of development targets," concluded the Minister.
